Space Invaders

Space Invaders is a classic arcade game that was first released in 1978 and became one of the most influential video games of all time. The game features a player-controlled spaceship at the bottom of the screen that must shoot down rows of alien invaders marching toward Earth.

This browser-based version lets you play the classic Space Invaders game directly in your web browser without any downloads or installations. Use the left and right arrow keys to move your spaceship and the spacebar to shoot!

• Start the game: Click "Start Game" to begin playing.
• Move your spaceship: Use the left and right arrow keys on desktop or touch and drag left/right on mobile devices to move your spaceship horizontally.
• Shoot aliens: Press the spacebar on desktop or tap anywhere on mobile devices to shoot bullets upward at the alien invaders.
• Destroy all aliens: Shoot down all the alien invaders to win the game.
• Avoid alien fire: Aliens shoot back! If you're hit, you lose a life.
• Don't let aliens reach Earth: If aliens reach the bottom of the screen, the game ends!

• Keep moving: Don't stay in one place for too long - aliens will target your position!
• Shoot strategically: Try to shoot aliens in a column to create gaps in their formation.
• Watch the edges: Aliens move faster when they're near the edges of the screen.
• Stay centered: When possible, keep your spaceship in the center of the screen so you can react quickly to threats from either direction.
• Practice makes perfect: The more you play, the better you'll become at predicting alien movement patterns!
